Dear all,
I got a 1964 Grand Prix Music Box with a Beogram 610 VFL. Had a lot of work with get that thing playing, finally I need to change the turntable cartridge.
Can anyone tell me what kind of model I need? Sp?

You need an SP2 and a stylus with a suitable width for the records you want to play; 12, 17, 25 or 75 micron.

I am curious about the meaning of the L in Beogram 610 VFL. Do you know?
I know the V stands for Volt in danish and Voltage in english. And that it should mean that the record-player is powered by AC(alternating current) power.
The F stands for Forforstærker in danish and means a pre-amplifier in english. The meaning here is that it is built-in.
So the L. What can it mean?

V is for Vekselstrøm (Alternating current).F is for Forstærker (RIAA amplifier)
If memory still serves L tells, that the deck is ready for fitting of a longer tonearm. I seem to remember that the placement of the tonearm base differs.
