I am starting a light restoration of a pair of Pentas. Apart from the usual mid-range re-foaming issue, one of the chrome side panels of one of the upper boxes is standing proud, and I would like to get is back into place.

Should be clear in this image:

Should look more like this, when I push it back into place:

It is not at all clear how these are held in place, and how to get them off. The manual does not help here....

When I push the panel back into place, it seems to try to stick in place, but springs back out, so it looks to like these are glued into place, or maybe that was an attempt at a repair...

Any ideas gratefully received.

Regards

Pete

They are glued on or fitted using double-sided tape.
The original method was to grab one corner and simply rip them off or roll from top to bottom.
Apparently, new panels would be needed afterwards, - parts that, sadly, B&O will not supply anymore.

Best bet would be to slip some glue in between and clamp it up overnight.

Thanks, Martin, I suspected that may be the case.

Luckily mine look fine, so it will be the glue solution for me.
