Hi
I have a Beosound 3200 running 2 pairs of Beolab 6000.
I also have a Beogram 7000 plugged into the 3200 via the aux din plug.
I recently added a small non B&O subwoofer to the system using a din to rca cable. It is a powered Cambridge audio sub and switches when a signal is detected.
I have noticed that I get a hum from the subwoofer when the Beosound is activated. By that I mean as soon as I open the doors of the beosound before even switching it on or playing any source the subwoofer hums. Also after playing any of the sources when the Beosound is put to standby and powered down after a short time ( a few seconds) the hum starts again and actually gets slightly louder. If the beosound doors are opened at this point the hum reduces again but doesn’t stop. It hums for about 10 minutes and the stops until next time the beosound isn’t started again.
I’d like a B&O sub at some point but in the mean time this is where I’m at.
Any ideas gratefully received.
Thanks
