Just connected the cable to the 2300, 7pin to rca. doesn't work. Anyone know if it's the cables problem or the connector? Or where can I get the 2300 fixed?
Unlikely to be a problem with the 2300. What are you trying to connect to it?
rca from turntable to 2300 7pin aux
Is it a B&O turntable, and if so what type? EDIT: I assume not, if RCA output.
Does it have built in RIAA, and does it work with other amplifiers?
Are you sure that the RCA to DIN cable is an input at the DIN end?
And have you tired connecting another source to the 2300 aux socket?
And are you sure that you are connecting it to the AUX rather than one of the Powerlink sockets?
If it is the first time you use this cable for this purpose it is most likely for output and not input.
If you have a multimeter you can check the pin connection of the cable between the RCA and DIN end.
From beotech page:
From Peter Pan:
I've connected the turntable to my bose DVD player connected to speakers and it worked using he same cable. might just be a problem with the cable itself
