Hi,

a Beoplay M3 died. Its LEDs are only blinking, Reset doesn't work, does not boot or react.

Is there any chance of reanimation or is it now a paperweight?

Bad news Sad

Did you try to play something through the line-in ?

What do you see exactly ?

Product indicator

– Off: Product is in standby mode or switched off.

– White (flashing): Product is booting up.

– Red (solid): Both Indicators turn solid red shortly before during factory reset.

– Red (flashing): Both Indicators flash red at the same time to indicate that software update is in progress. Do not operate the product or switch it off.

– Red (flashing): Firmware error. Disconnect the product from the mains supply and reconnect it.

– Orange (flashing): Indicator is flashing orange when the product is overheating and needs time to cool down.

Line-in: No.

Product indicator: Both LEDs are alternately slowly flashing white.

Factory Reset via button doesn't do anything.

I fear you're right about the bad news... :-(

During normal boot up, both leds are slowly flashing white simultaneously, not alternately.

And what about this?

Asked a dealer alreay and he doesn't know what it means, other than it doesn't mean good news. ;-)

Tried it, does not work either, no "...M3..." WLAN visible. :-(
Tried an Ethernet adaptor which shows network activity but I can't see the LAN connection on my router.

Thank you for your help! :)

I'll ask B&O... maybe they have an idea or solution.

I did, several times but it stays in that red flashing mode.

Already pushed all available reset button etc. but both indicators keep blinking red.

I already contacted the support and they said the speaker is dead, offered me a 20% voucher...

I'm quite good at repairing stuff and already read alot about the amplifier board. Is it the same case with the M3?

Just replacing the amplifier board?

Thanks in advance.
