Hello Beowolders

looking for some advise from you as regards your experience of wall mounting the above tv onto a wall

I am currently in the process of moving house and wondered whether to wall mount the tv

i will have to consider location of my Xbox for 4k films,  Sky Q and  amazon TV

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated

Kinda hard to guess what kind of experience you seek?

I chose not to wall mount because I think the TV is much prettier on the floor stand. Plus wall mounting restricts the movement to one side, which might be a compromise. The movement of the floor mount is just jo elegant, and much more visually pleasing compared to the motorized wall mount.

In regards to the wall mounting it self you can watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OEmSPMcKj_M&list=PLRPmJ785xnMjYHt1XyBQm5JKJHm4xaWVT&index=1

I you choose to wall mount just make sure that the wall is strong enough to support the TV. Nothing worse than a wrecked TV and a big hole in the wall. I cannot find the minimum strength recommended by B&O.

Beovision Eclipse gen2 (GX) w/ floorstand, Beolab 14.2, 4 speaker Shape and ATV4/Chromecast.

Beoplay A9mk4 GVA, Beosound 1 GVA, H2, H3, H8, E6, Beoplay EQ

I have my 65 inch Eclipse mounted on my wall using the motorized mount, and it's perfect for my use.  I've (well, the installers did this) run the HDMI cables through the wall into my office (my office is behind the wall where the TV is mounted) where I have my cable box, router, etc.  I have a PL coming out of the wall below to drive my BL2 (which I don't use nearly as much as I thought I would because for much of our viewing, the sub is overkill).  It's a very clean install.  No visible cables.  The BeoRemote controls everything.  I think the TV looks almost like it is floating when it swings out from the wall.  Still makes me smile 4 years on.

For me, the lack of flexibility wasn't an issue because the TV really only works in this location.  Yeah, I doubt if I can take it with me when I move, but moving is not in my near or long term plans so I bit the bullet and did it right.

The only "issue" I have is that I have no good location to place external speakers.  If you keep the front speakers against the wall on which the TV is mounted, then when the TV swings out, one of them will be partially blocked by the screen.  The room layout has more to do with this than the Eclipse, but none the less, it sometimes bothers me that I'm not using all the WISA surround sound goodness the TV is capable of.

I have the STB Gyro 21 for my BV E 65 and I am very happy with this.

There is a lot of space for your Gaming or DVD boxes under the BV on the sideboard. And the cablemanagement looks perfekt.

I looked at both motorized and non-motorized, and they look identical from the front of the TV.  The only difference being you provide the motion for the one without the motor.  Think of it as a hinge that allows the TV to swing out from the wall similar to a door.  In one case, the door opens automatically, in the other case, you pull on it.

Here are few pictures of my wall mounted Eclipse 65 in:
