Hi there, I have just joined after looking for info on my Beomaster that I bought new in 1973. The three lamps have failed, and I would be grateful for instructions on which to buy (12v 30ma) but do they need soldering, or are they the type then can plug in? Also, how does one access them without taking everything apart please. The related posts appear to go beyond what I need. Many thanks

Lamps here:https://www.beoparts-shop.com/
They are plugged in, but it is a bit of work to get to them.- Open Beomaster into serviceposition.- Losen dial string from dial pointer.. Losen dial plate and swing it aside or up, it will go just enough in the wires for you to get to the lamps.

Hi Martin, many thanks for the speedy reply. I answered via email, but it may not have reached you.
Meantime, another issue is that it connects to my iPad via a cable to the Tape Din plug. This has only 2 wires, not 3 so no sterio. When the Mono key on the 1001 is pressed it works, but the left channel sound fades in and out, and the mono light (now working) works in unison. If the volume slider is left alone at a medium level it settles after a while. The RH system works just fine. Do you have any suggestions. I might add that it is great to have the wonderful sound produced by this old beauty back again.
