English

. Beolab 2 Beocom 1 rubber materials:

Hello, I notice that the materials of the Beolab 2 (front and sides) and the Beocom 1 (base) are getting sticky over time, can someone guide me how to avoid this or how they can be maintained or cleaned.

2. BeoLab 2 could be somehow connected to equipment other than Bang Olufsen.

Thank you. Greetings

I have a little bit of experience with these, and in all my time I've never been able to 'restore' them to an acceptable level once they go sticky..  Sad

Hi,

I have samo problem with my Beovision. Frame is getting sticky. I suppose that there are no solution to that. It's not possible to use any detergent to remove it and stronger ones will melt the stuff.

I think only solution is to remove the coating somehow. That of course mean that you have to dismantle parts first. After that it's possible to paint those parts with desired colour .

It would be interesting to know if there is some better and easier way:)

Actually there is same problem with boat fenders.

With wax and alcohol it's possible to remove that but it comes back quite soon.
