Emerges with BS5?

I am trying to get my two Emerges to work with my BS5. If I connect a Powerlink to mini cable from BS5 to Emerge line-in, it does not work. But, if I connect a BL6000 to one Powerlink on the BS5 while the Emerge is connected to the other Powerlink, the Emerge works. It even shows up in the app as playing from Line-in. How do I get it to work with just Emerges connected and no BL6000?

Solved it…..had to change Line-In sensitivity in the app to High from Medium.

But another question. Right now I only have a cable to connect one Emerge so I can not test it…..with two Emerges connected, one to each PowerLink socket on the BM5, will I get stereo with left/right as the Emerges do not have a left/right switch as Beolab 4000s, 6000s, etc did?

Hi Razlaw,

If the Emerges are stereo paired in the B&O app, then you should only connect one Emerge to the BS5 (this will be the "primary" Emerge, ie. the one you selected when you set up the pairing).  This speaker will take in the stereo signal and send one channel over the network to the other speaker.

If the speakers are not paired, then please connect each speaker directly to the BS5.

Thanks! I finally was able to get the Emerges working without the need to include the BS5. It was operator error by me causing the pairing the issues I was having.
