Hello there, i have seen one of these at a good price but was wondering if there is a way to remove scratches from the mirrored panels as they are heavily scratched. Or if i am able to buy new ones?  if so if anyone knows how much i would be grateful.

Thanks In Advance!

Don't think it's possible to remove scratches on these type of panels.

I think I must have some in my closetSmile

Anything's worth a try with a buffing wheel, I'd guess.

Whatever you do, they'll only get worse, and you'll end up wishing you had left the scratches alone.

I suppose parts for 9300 would be still available, but I believe they have a bit different finish.

Polishing them will only make them worse. The polished panels fitted to early 9300's are anodised aluminium and the anodising will simply be removed leaving dull aluminium, which looks horrible.

The only thing you can do is replace them with new service spares which are still available, as a set of 3 matched panels. See your local B&O dealer. They will cost you around £180.

The matt panels fitted to later 9300 are made of treated steel, are much harder wearing but have not been available for around 12 months now

No, I don't think so Graham. On the other hand, I did order a set long time ago through Ebay, and maybe I bougt them from you? I was not aware that you were the owner of Beo4life. We did some exchanges though but not for panels!

I have sold several sets of second hand panels and my wife has sold a few.

I fit a new set to every Beocenter 93/9500 I sell and sometimes the old ones are just too good to throw away!

Then I'll keep mine as a spare Graham (sorry Ronnie). I think I bought them from you but that must be a while ago. They look brandnew...
