Hello, all!

i bought a Beosystem 2300 a few months ago and I love it. The only defect is the two displays both don't work. I have looked online and can't find anyone else who has this problem. Anyone have any ideas for a fix or replacement for the screens?

Thanks!

I've never heard of that LCD going bad. On the BL7000 remotes there is an electro luminescent backlight that goes out rendering the display unusable unless you shine light directly on it, but I believe the LCD display on the BC2300 is lit by a bulb or separate light source. Are you sure the LCD itself is not displaying anything or is it possible that the light has just gone out? I have a BC2500 and I have to admit it's pretty difficult to see even from the couch as its pretty dim as it is.

Thanks for the response! I do think it may be the backlight. When you look at the screen from a certain angle, you can kind of see the outline of text. Do you know if it is possible to replace the backlight?

Thanks again for the response!
