Hello, first I apologize for my english, I'm spanish.
But I have a question, and I hope this great frorumers will able to resolve.
I'm the happy owner of a BV10 46 since two years ago. The video source are a BR palyer and a Apple TV, both being controlling with Beo4. Now I'm thinking about add a proyector. And this is my doubt. How can I get the sign of video out of the BV10 towards the projector?
Thanks for helping.

Hallo Veermer,
since I am the first to answer your first post on this Forum, I bid you a warm welcome to BeoWorld.
There is a tv - and there is a BV
I have done that : all my sources are connected to a Atlona 4x2 HDMI switch. This switch is compatible with the Beovision (8+10) PUC, and the whole system, so that I get HDMI A (direct on the BV) and HDMI B1, B2, B3, B4 (via the switch). Now, any source that is connected to the switch is configurable via the BV menu, so that I never have to do anything with the switch, it's as if I had 4+1 HDMI inputs on my BV, and 4 that can be beamed via the video projector.
When watching a movie on the projector, I just have to select P.Mute on the Beo4 to switch off the BV screen, and I have also a "cinema" macro on the Beo6 that do this directly.
The only drawback is that the BV never switches off the Atlona.
Everything that is described here can not be done with BV11/Beoplay V1, as the new digital platform would add a delay between sound and picture when connecting a projector with an external switch.

Hi mbee,
that is extremely interesting - thanks for that info!
How do you connect all the extra PUC-cables - on a BV8 you only have 3 free inputs (4-1=3).
Which commands do you use for the devices?
Would you be able to make a drawing of your solution?
For many of us (me included) it would be easier to understand.
Greetings Millemissen
Millemissen: Hallo Veermer, since I am the first to answer your first post on this Forum, I bid you a warm welcome to BeoWorld. I am sorry that my answer is NO - many people wish for such a possibility, as is known from the BV7 and the BSys3. But you could double the signal from your BR-player/ATV with a HDMI-splitter, und send one signal to the projektor as well. This way you can hear the sound through the BV and (if there are some) the speakers connected to BV10. You can easily mute the picture of the BV - the picture will then only show up on the 'big screen'. If your BRP/ATV is PUC-controlled the solution isn't that bad at all. Greetings Millemissen
But in this form I see two problems. I only might have a source of video: that one that connects to the HDMI-splitter. And the second one is: there will be delay between the image and the sound?
But at least it is a feasible and cheap solution, thanks!
Kind regards.

mbee: thank you very much for such an interesting response.
It looks like a perfect solution. Do you refer to this device? http://www.atlona.com/Atlona-4-by-2-HDMI-Switcher.html
Do you need to touch the physical buttons of the device to change the sources?
I sign all Millemissen's questions.
Thank you very much mbee!
Kind regards from Spain.
