Hi

Would a beocom 2 be able to be used in an existing phone setup ?

For example if you have a Panasonic phone setup in 2 rooms, could you hook a beocom 2 into a phone jack in another room and if someone called your number all phones would ring?

Or do you need to only have a B&O phone setup?

Thanks

Michael

It depends a little on what you mean! You can get a stand alone Beocom 2 (the original type) in which the base has the wireless connection in it and this connects to the phone socket and would work exactly as you desire. Later BC2s work with a Beoline wireless set up so the base is merely a charger and you need a separate device connected to a phone socket - this has the advantage that the BC2 can be situated almost anywhere - it still needs a power feed.
