Hi all,

I have a bv7-40 as the main set & a beocenter 6-26 as the link in my bedroom. After watching the set up stairs I turned it off and watched the tv downstairs, when i nipped back upstairs the set had switched itself back on but TV, so white noise is showing??  Any ideas what maybe the cause??

Thanks Nick

As the BV6 is designed as a Master as well as a slave (in a link room), make sure that the option setting is 6 when using it in a link room, and also that the timer play is switched off.

Hi thanks for the reply, its set as option 6?? I will check the timer play feature but it seems to do this quite a bit

Have you got a Freeview box connected directly to the Link TV? If scart sense is activated, the TV will switch on from stand by when the Freeview box responds to a software update over air.

I would suggest that you disconnect the masterlink into the rear of the BV6 and see if that cures the problem. If it does then it sounds as though the TV downstairs is sending a command to the BV6 via the masterlink circuit.
