beogram 1800 1968-70

Hi all

can anyone give some info on a beogram 1800 from 1968-70 theres not much know about it on the products site, i picked  this beogram up and it has an unusual lid which is half metal and top is perspex.

HI martin 

would the beogram 1800 do well with the beolab 5000 system, the beogram 3000 would be a hard find

It would be an admirable match. I would however consider getting Axel to do you a special cartridge so that you get the most from the deck.

I agree, beautiful deck.

I have 3 of them but unfortunately none of them is working :-(

It is one of my open projects (on the long, long waiting list ...)
