Dear All,
I will be attending a conference in October at the St Petersburg State University. Related social events are being held at Hotel Vasilievskiy.
Any members in a position to provide advice or recommendations as to sites, restaurants, and most importantly, affordable accommodations? A safe, clean pension within walking distance of the conference site and the hotel would be fine. As for airlines, I would prefer not to fly on Aeroflot. Turkish Airlines, via Istanbul, is a consideration.
