Just got an ex-demo BV10 from my local dealer. He is now closed for the night. Atempting to set it up (but not as initial setup as this has already been done by the dealer). I assume he set it up using a Beo 4 with navigation buttons (or more likely a Beo 6

I have an old Beo 4 without navigation button and I cannot find a way of selecting the options sub-menu in order to set the BV10 to work with a Beo 4 without navigation button!

Has anybody any idea how to resolve this or do I need to wait until the mormning and go over to borrow a Beo 4 with navigation button?

Many thanks.

Mark

You can use the numbers to navigate to the menu

Thank -you for your prompt response Smile

I can use the numbers to get into the setup menu. Unfortunately the sub-menus after entering setup do not have numbers and I have not been able to work out how to select the sub-menu I need (in this cae the options menu).

You should be able to use the numbers in all menus.  If you wan the fourth item down press 4, it doesn't matter if there is a number next to it in the menu or not.

If you are seeing numbers next to menu items you maybe in the set top box menu, press menu again to get to the TV menu?

You can switch to control your BV without Nav. Button.

Press MENU - OPTIONS - REMOTE CONTROL - select NO NAV. BUTTON.

You got the manual...?

Hope this helps

Thanks Stefan.

I was struggling to get into the correct menu but eventually managed. Now up and running.
