I just rescued a 3300 but it doesnt power up. I knew it wasnt working but wondered if it could be something simple and maybe needs a simple part - fuse maybe?
So two questions
How do I work out whats wrong?
Where do I buy parts I live in France but happy to buy off the net
Thanks for anyhelp

Welcome to Beoworld !
How are your electronic skills, tools etc. ?
Martin
Thank you Martin its nice to be here.
My own skills arent great I used to build my own cars and do their electrical systems but I have 2 friends to call on - 1 a qualified domestic electrician the other works on the electrics of the french high speed TGV trains
My own interest is the design aspect in B&0 the 3300 is sitting on an early 1970s Danish sideboard if I can get it working its a bonus
Replace the capacitors on the power supply board as the first thing.
All of them, also the two big ones placed away from the boards?
I am having the same problem - no power - and was wondering where to start.
Thanks in advance.
Primarily the ones on the board.Check also that the power switch is functioning correctly. If it doesn't release completelyit won't power up. Tighten the spring on the switch.
