I already own a (male) DIN to (male) RCA cable from SoundsHeavenly, but I'm interesting in making my own or having someone make one for me from different cable. Does anyone have any kind of visual reference for which RCA wires go to which DIN pins, including the ground wire coming out of the DIN for the phono amp? I already have the schematic from the service manual. I'm looking for an illustration/drawing or a photo. Thanks!
Matt
Some of these drawings may be useful: http://forum.recordere.dk/forum_posts.asp?TID=7820&PN=1
About half way down the page there's exactly what you need.
Thanks Guy. You're right, this looks like what I want. So the drawing marked "Beogram TX" correct?
Just to make the confusing perfect, here is one more.

Unfortunately I'm not a silver or gold member, so I don't have access.
Sounds good. Thanks Rich.
Soren's diagram is correct.
Pin 1 - Left record
Pin 2 - Ground
Pin 3 - Left play
Pin 4 - Right record
Pin 5 - Right play
Also confirmed here.
Thanks, Rich. So it sounds like the diagram for the Beogram TX in this link from Guy is also correct: http://forum.recordere.dk/forum_posts.asp?TID=7820&PN=1
My question now is if you look at this image, the ground for the phono amp is coming out the top of the DIN plug from that groove. What is that ground wire connected to? Is it just attached to the inside of the DIN?
I don't think so. I think you want a ground wire from DIN plug 2 on the TX attached to the amplifier. I think that's what this adapter does.

Thanks! That's what I needed!
