Beocord 3500 won't work :(

Hello! I received a tape recently that i want to play. Problem is: It won't play..
When I put the casette in to my Beocord and push play, it clicks two times and then nothing happens.

Anyone out there who knows what the problem might be?

When was the last time when you used your Beocord?

First have a look at the belts. They probably need a replacement.

Try with a different tape to see if the problem is with the Beocord or the tape.

And possible a proper cleaning inside....

Some belts give the same mess as speakers with foamrot... Next stage is to remove the old grease and use new one around the capstan and other moving parts.
