We are all audiophiles so kindly forgive me for straying off the track a tad, but I am seriously in need of a complete set of belts for my Tandberg 9000 Reel-to-Reel tape recorder.
If anyone has a source for Tandberg belts I would be most grateful to hear about it.
Thank you.
Jeff

Maybe here Jeff, many years ago I had a Tandberg reel to reel, forgot which model, but for a 14-16 year old in the 60ties it was a lot of fun.
Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.
Hi Søren,
During that period I had an Ampex 900, which was my pride and joy! Great self-contained unit, but heavy as hell being half tube half transistor. I moved Heaven and Earth to keep it running, but my dealer told me it was time to let my “friend” go…. and before the big move, I gave in.
The Tandberg 9000 I purchased in 1971 and this is the first problem it has ever had.
I thank you for the contact tip. I just emailed Peter at Soudsmith’s to see what he has available.
sended a PM, tell me if didn't get it
blah-blah and photographs as needed

OK guys, I still need help, apparently.
Thank you Søren, I contacted Soundsmiths twice, but they didn’t respond. No doubt they are more interested in selling their fine reproduction B&O cartridges.
The other recommend sight is all in German and whereas I could use the various translators available on the web, I would rather deal with a firm that at least I know what I am doing.
Any other suggestions for Tandberg belts?

Telenor... Sounds familiar, maybe, just maybe, I did get great help from one guy from there with my 3600DX... He had belts, wheels, manuals ect. (like Martin here)

If it helps, I think the mechanics of the 3000x series of decks are identical.
Vinyl records, cassettes, open reel, valve amplifiers and film photography.
Thanks to both Sørens and Orava. Spotted the eBay offering and have contacted Teletor awaiting a reply. So it appears I am going to get the 000 fixed after all…… thanks to you guys!
