Hi all,

I ran out of spares of the original Siemens relays, and so had to make do with what's available on the market. Success, and no reason to go chasing down unobtanium anymore - at least for this.

The successful substitute is a Schrack RTE24024 DPDT 24VDC relay.

Obviously the pinout is completely different but this is not a problem.

This is the original pinout

And here it is installed - once the PCB is bolted down, it looks just fine.

However, if there is sufficient interest, I can make up a small adapter PCB to enable the new relay to fit right into the original holes, similar to what Brown-Dog does for IC's of differing pinouts.

I made a small batch of pcb's for Osram sealed relays, it makes the whole process a heck of a lot easier! I will upload the print when I get a minute of time! I use to glue the osram relay upside down and feed the wires over the top nice n neat and don't have to worry about the thing rattling round ;-)
