Please can someone help. I have a beovision avant 32rf with built in vhs. I am trying to play music via my computer through the avant speakers but without the screen turning on. I have tried a lot of things including using the camcorder inlets behind the control panel and changing camcorder to v-aux etc. At the moment i have a stb connected. Then i have the sound connected to the av scart to a 2.5 jack that leads to my computer. The sound works fine but the picture/screen comes on no matter how i configure it? I must be doing something wrong? I have it set up on my MX7000 via a b&o 21 pin din to 2.5 jack and configured to v aux on that and i can play sound fine without the screen being on. Seems odd that i can't do the same on my avant which is newer and was far more expensive!??

Please help.

Hi Richard1,

welcome to the world of BeoWorld Smile

Unfortunatly yoy can not 'mute' the picture on the Avant.

However - if the Avant is in Option 2 - you can use 'AV' before the 'source' you want to activate.

This will give you only sound from the selected source.

Feel free to ask again, if that needs more explanation.

Greetings Millemissen

There is a tv - and there is a BV

Thank-you for your quick response, yup i looked at another thread and it had this option 2 fix and i added it to the beo 4 and then hit av>dvd and the picture turned off and the sound remained! Very happy. Thank you.

Regards
