Does anybody know why I don't have much sound coming through my beolab 8000's when terrestrial Television is being viewed? If you are watching a DVD, the sound is perfect all the time, but when watching terrestrial television, the noise level varies depending what channel you are viewing.

Regards

DVD = 5.1 Sound = all Speakers involved

Terrestrial TV = max. Stereo Sound, for News, Voices etc. center Speaker is used the most
(try SPEAKER 2 to get the Sound from the Beolab 8000 instead)

Hi Ralf, so does this explain why sometimes I have sound coming out of the front beolab 8000,s and other times I don't ? (I only have 2 beolab 8000's connected into the front speaker ports in the back of the television and one 7.1 speaker connected into the power link centre port).

It appears that the only way to get constant sound out from the centre speaker and both of the beolab 8000's is to connect a power link splitter into the spare port next to the centre speaker port on the back of the television and have all 3 as Stereo speakers instead.

Many thanks
