Hi there, please can somebody tell me why sometimes, I can get sound out of my Beolab 8000's when plugged into the front speaker ports on the rear of a Beovision 7-32 and am watching terrestrial television and other times It is very quiet, it seems to be different volumes depending what channel you have on or what it is that you are viewing, I am using the TV in SPEAKER MODE 3, which is supposed to be the centre speaker and the two front speakers all at once, but most of the sound appears to be coming out of the centre speaker, is this right when viewing terrestrial television. When the DVD player is on, all 3 work together and sound fine, no problems.

Many thanks

Hi, on the Avant yoiu have to set the distance and power levels for each of the l/r channells - what is more likely is that with a DVD it is in Dolby Digital so the speakers are decoding that and playing it the way it is meant to be, with terrestrial dvd it isn't in DD so the sound card emulates it and most of the sound will come from the centre if it is speach etc. Not sure if I am on the right lines but seems the most likely - my avant is the same.
