Dear all,

I  do have 2 master link gateways in my house with fixed IP address. Every time I move from a location to another and after I run the Beolink application on my iPhone, the application keeps searching for around one minute before retrieving the gateway. Do you have any solution for that? Any suggestions related to the LAN in the house?

Note:

The Multicasting feature is enabled on the LAN. Does that have any impact on the above?

Seba.

Don`t know if this helps, but as far as I remember (i`m not at home right now), you can add "reachable Masterlink gateways" to Beolink app in the settings menu....(?)

May I ask, why you are using two mlgw? I have a single mlgw and I`m able to control all products - incl. KNX home automation -  in all linkrooms from every location in the house and the garden. MLGW set to fixed ip address.

I'm using two ML gateways because I have 2 B&O TVs in two different rooms.

I've got 4 B&O tvs.. .all in the same link system.

You do not need two gateways.

one gateway will control 32 different products (i think)

certainly you don't need more than one gateway for just 2 tvs

can you lay out your setup a  little better

I`m controling seven rooms - one mainroom, six linkrooms - with three Beovisions.

I think you can define 16 zones in an mlgw, so I can`t see any needs for a 2nd mlgw.

I have to agree there is no need for two gateways in your configuration. We have multiple BV products and audio products in our configuration and it controls it all on one. I have setup more than a few and one is only needed those setups as well.

Ah, you know... A little B&O here, a little there
