Beolab 3500 before and after 2006 ?

Hello all,

I would like to know if in term of speakers quality there are big difference between a beolink 3500 dated 1993 with SW 1.2 and the "updated" version after 2006 ?

Is the difference is purely for the SW or is there any big difference in term of sound quality with new speakers. I've found some informations here in the forum but mainly regarding the SW and the way to upgrade but nothing related to speakers itself.

I have found started from 2006 a new woofer 9cm and tweet 1.9cm was added. So what speakers was installed before ?

Is there any issue with a 1993 dated 3500 ? According pictures it is in a very good condition, but did not seen yet with cover off.

I forgot one thing. The goal is to link to my Ouverture in my bedroom using ML cable and to be able to wake-up with :-)
