I was in B&O the other day. And the very nice man who worked there told me that the BeoSound 4 is no longer in production. The end of CD players. Although he did tell me there still getting stock of the 9000

Actually, it was obsolete a few years ago, but B&O was still making them. No more CD players left now except the ripping device for BS-5

BeoLab 5, BeoVision 7-55 MK2, BeoSound 5 Encore, BeoSound 9000, BeoLab Penta III, BeoLab 8000, BeoLab 6000, BeoLab 2, BeoLab 7-6, BeoSound 8, BeoTime (analog clock), Beo 4 remote.

No big deal - there are plenty of Philips CDM4-based players still out there, which will last another 50 years if serviced correctly.

The Beogram CD 5500, 6500, 7000, and BeoCenter 8000, 8500, 9000, 9500, 9300.

My Beosound 4 is only used now as a HTPC sound system, and to play SD card music downloaded and added from the computer. Our Beosound 3200 has been installed to serve just the Library.

Besides, I can't load or play a CD as the glass cover will no longer remain up. It will e taken to a B&O store for repairs someday.

But the sound is still quite good, and accessible throughout the house.
