Beoplay A8 software update

Has anyone updated their A8's software recently and found any difference?

Mine has been nigh on useless since, and as no lightning adapters are yet forthcoming i sit next to it listening to my mini iPads loudspeaker!

Beovision 11-46, Beovision 8-26, Beosound 8, Beocom 2, Beotime, a shed load of A8's and Form 2's. Beo 4's and a 6.

For some reason we have only received black so far, none in white.

Goes through this odd thing at the moment of starting to flash like your connecting to as network. Sat 10 inches from the Airport Express.

You can only update the A8 via an Ethernet connection and by using a 30 pin connected Apple product. If you do not own one of these a trip to your dealer will be in order.

On this point this proves the necessity of a good dealer network and means B&O cannot become reliant on 3rd party resellers and online sales. They need to remember to look after their 'partners'!

Thanks but I have already updated via the router, and yes he always does.

Mine at home is connected wirelessly back to an airport express that is sat in another room. I haven't experienced any issues at all since updating to sw 3.05. Sorry I can't be of any further help
