Got a BV10 with apple TV, SKYHD and a panasonic DVD.

Sky is very intermittent with it's response to commands off the BEO4.

Got 2 BEO4's and it happens the same with both.

It seems to be with the GO button especially.

The red light flashes on the sky box as if it's reading the remote but it plays up. Apple TV and the DVD player seem to work fine.

Is it possible the IR blaster is faulty?

You can view the IR blaster through a mobile phone camera and see if it is lighting up when you press the appropriate Beo4 button.

If that's OK, are you sure that it is correctly aligned with the IR receiver in the Sky box?

Has the Sky HD box been replaced? We have had instances of Sky swapping the box due to fault and replacing the existing Thomson box with a new Amstrad one. The codes are slightly different and result in sluggish operation.

Emitter cables can go fault but it is very rare. More likely that the emitter itself is not correctly positioned on the Sky box.
