Beo4&DVD1

Hi,just moved my DVD1 to different Beo4 and it cant see DVD.How do i config?

You can't configure DVD1 to work directly from Beo4. The DVD1 has no infra red sensor. It is controlled via scart when connected to a Bang & Olufsen TV.

i get it,has to directly connected to tv-cannot go through a multi-scart box

Not unless your multi-scart box can handle changing voltage levels and digital signal on pin 8 at the same time meaning if it goes through any kind of buffer it is almost certainly no going to work.

The B&O AVL signal is transmitted to the DVD1 on pin 8 which is also used to defined the automatic picture format based on voltage level.

Connect the DVD1 directly to the AV scart socket on the BeoVision TV
