After a hectic period of business travels I found the time to do some refurb on another pairs of CX100's
There we go...
Brengen & Ophalen
Meticulous as usual for you! You are quite the perfectionist, and an inspiration to us all to take the time to do things right. These look great!
Jeff
I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus.
+1
If you ever come across a single CX50 or CX100 please get in touch. I got one of each looking for a mate before refurbish is in order.
Thanks for sharing those pictures Leslie. Those CX-100s look great.

They are mint Jeff and John, like all the others I have. Tomorrow I will get two more pairs of black CX100's but unfortunately I have to travel again but will return before the weekend. Can't wait...
@Friedmett, sorry only pairs, no singles. Will keep an eye on it. What color you're looking for?

Shimming??
That's okay my friend. Let me put it this way, for myself I don't feel the need to shim and believe me, I did a lot of CX's and last time a bigger size as for the M150's and never had any complaints. They sound excellent without any distortion what so ever. I think this will be a never ending discussion, some do and some don't. If you feel the need to do it then do it, that's all I can say
Really impressed with the restored CX100's. I have a pair I am working on, white, and I wonder what the stripes looked like originally. On my boxes, the stripes on one side are a dark cream colour, on the other side a much lighter cream. Probably one side has been exposed to more sunlight than the other. I was going to redo the stripes using a water slide transfer decal, it would be good to know what the originals looked like. From your photos, yours have stripes that are not much different in colour to the main paintwork, perhaps more gloss finish. Any help appreciated, I haven't been able to find a photo that answers this question for me.
