I am also interested in other people's opinions.

What I have heard to date in store demos has not inspired me give up the BL11, BL3x2, BL4x2 combo -- but the promise of less cables and a more elegant design (that the BL4s) keeps me thinking, thinking, thinking ... lucky I have no spare time, or else I might have done some buying by now.

The BL14-set is great - but I wouldn't give up a "BL11, BL3x2, BL4x2 combo" for it.

Maybe you could think of keeping the BL3's as front and buying a BL14-2.1 as sub and rear speakers!

P.S. I see no reason why a BL14-set shouln't work well with a BV8-40.

There is a tv - and there is a BV

I would agree with Millemissen and his suggestion of a mix is worth considering.

The two BL14 demos I attended were imo very impressive and if I was starting from new, (and did not have Bl4x4) it is the way to go.

I have the advantage of spare rooms which are currently speaker-less and where my BL4s can find a home Smile

And even the BL11 has an alternative home - supporting the BL 6000s by taking some load off their drivers !
