Fan noise beovision10-40

I've been told there is a Sw fix for the noisy fan in the beovsion 10-40.

Can anyone confirm this

I am not aware of a software issue related to a noisy fan in BeoVision 10's

The only fan related issue was with Mark II only where the fan speeds up intermittently. This problem was apparently resolved with a software update released on 20th June 2011

But far as I know there are still owners of BV 10 who have problems with a noisy fan.

BTW: Is Build 229 still the actual software of BV 10?
