I have two Beolab 3500 speakers and both have just stopped responding to the remote control.  Any ideas why this is?

What are they connected to and how?

Had the same problem recently.

Power down all devices connected to ML. Wait a minute and restart all devices. This procedure helped in my case.

If not check your ML cabling.

Thanks for replying.  I'm not really sure how they are connected - B&O installed them.  I just assumed they are connected to the TV and the CD player.

Its really odd but the speakers worked yesterday but switched themselves off after about 30 mins but I was able to switch back on.

This morning they were completely unresponsive so just tried them again now and they work.

Is it something I have pressed - some timer or something that blocks them?

It is highly unlikely that both Lab3500's have gone faulty at the same time. So the common denominator is the cable or the source. Assuming that you have not had work done that may have resulted in the Link cable being damaged, I suggest that you check both main products. You say that both speakers play for about 30 mins then switch off. This sounds like a pin code issue. The main products in a link system will play but if another product in the system is locked by the pin code, it will shut the system down after about 30 minutes.
