I know the BM 7000 works with the Beolink 7000 but can it work fully with a Beo 4 or 6500 MCP the Beo 4 works on basic functions but I cant seem to work out bass treble and balance with it?

BM7000 can be used with all those remotes.
In order to adjust bass, treble and balance on Beo4, you need to ADD a command called SPEAKER to the LIST of the Beo4. Having that on the screen and pressing GO will get you to the settings, and they can be adjusted using vol up/down.
Brilliant thank you!! Ive always found the Beo 4 a bit of a mystery!! I prefer the Beolink 7000 but its very broken!!
On a related note - and assuming it is OK to do this - I have just listed a Beolink 7000 on ebay.
