Look at the bottom of this nice BM 1200
Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.
I'm not that familiar with the 1200.
Are the output transistors normally mounted externally?
Beo4 'til I die!

Me neither, but think about the risk of shorts if mounted there without protection, maybe original on the inside in the same spot.
The output stage and voltage regulator transistors are normally mounted to the underside, from outsidewith their pins sticking in to circuits boards. But they are normally covered with plastic housings. The ones fitted to the Beomaster on Ebay are not the correct type of transistors.Actually, these could be silicon darlingtons. Probably why it doesn't work.
