He guys!
Quick question before I go on a bidding spree on E-bay:
I have a beogram 5000 hooked up on a beomaster 5500
Can I use the master control 5000 to control both systems? Also, is it possible to buy a master control 5500 to use on the beomaster 5000? The MC 5500 seems to be better.
Thanks for the advice!
Cheers
Dom

Hi,
In the subject title you say you have a Beomaster 5000 and a Beogram 5500. But in the message itself you say you have a Beogram 5000 hooked up to a Beomaster 5500. Which way round is it? lol
If you have a Beomaster 5500 (amp) then the MCP5500 will work fine, but if you have a Beomaster 5000 then you can only use a Master Control Panel 5000 or a Terminal 5000 remote.
The Beogram (turntable) is mostly irrelevant when it comes to what remote to buy as the beomaster deals with all of the IR signals and sends relevant instructions to the beogram through the 7pin cable.
Hope this helps.
