Saw this on Ebay, looks I have some competition but somehow there's a design fault with this glasspanel

It has a redundant touch feature, in case the lower doesn't work you may try the upper...

the upper section is where the display lights shine through,

during the manufacturing process of removing the black coating its impossible to remove with a cnc laser machine just the coating without having an effect on the glass, leaving it with a mild etching to the glass.

B&O must have had the coating applied to just the areas needed excluding the "shine through" sections for the display to show but thats almost impossible to do on a small scale.

All the functions work as they should it just looks a little different.

i am sure you must all agree its better than a system without any glass panel and if it doesn't match the rest of your system then just replace all panels so they match!

To be honest now you mentioned that, I have the same issue with my 4500 glass panels that I've made a while ago, so same thing for my glass panels Embarrassed

Something to think about for my future panels (incl. CD4500).

For the one who's interested, this is where I laser "engraved" my glasspanels...

At least much and much better then the black panels someone sold or still sells on Ebay UK

I had a customer at my home buying one of my panels and he showed me the black one he bought on Ebay. Its was black glass with aluminium foil on the back side
