Hi Everyone.

After saving up for a long time I finally managed to buy speakers and a beomaster 3000 to support the Begram 3000 which I inherited.

When I plugged everything up, I noticed that the turn table wouldnt turn.

So i removed the metal disc and presto everything worked fine. But obviously without the metal table, I cannot use any of my vinyls. Is there anything I am doing wrong. The belt and everything including the tangential arm looks like they work fine but when i put back the metal disc they dont.

I live in london at the moment and wouldnt mind getting some help/repair help as well. Please do let me know as I was extremely excited to finally get it working only to see that something is wrong with it.

I apologise if this has already been discussed but I had a quick search and couldnt find a solution

Have you losened the three transport safety screws underneath the Beogram ?
Place it out over the edge of a table or similar and look up underneath.
