Although the website and also the adds on the train show some 'pastel' like colours for the speakerfronts of the beosound 8 ... this is how red actually looks like (on the site it is more pinkish)
I had a demonstration at my dealer and was impressed not to say overwhelmed by the sound quality. The Beolit 12 was alos soundwise impressive but I didn't liked the colour available now, and -to me-- the design was not that outstanding.
Also for me it was not clear (untill this week) that the remote for the BS8 is a seperate component .. I always believed it was the center piece to be taken out of the BS8.
And here comes the question: how does an airport (express) adapter look like on the BS8 ... is it big and ugly? Or is it manageable to hide it a bit ?

yes - it is very cool; you can even play the trick of hiding it in your hand and give a demonstration saying the the BS8 can detect gestures ... raise your hand while your thumb secretly presses the UP volume control ... "see?" ... then gesture down whilst secretly thumbing the down volume ... "see!"

As soon as the Ipad 3 arrives im gona get it and the Beosound 8 too.....i like the look of this a LOT more than the Beolit12.
