Hi,
I have a 1995 Beosystem AV 9000. Like most Beovisions from that era it has only two SCART sockets. I have five different video game systems (classic consoles) plus the AV9000 V-Tape recorder that I use.
My problem is that every time I want to play a different source, I have to change the cables. I have tried different SCART expanders, both those who just expands the number of SCART-sockets and the ones with switches on them. But both of them create some kind of disturbance, because when I connect more than one unit to them, the picture gets darker and the sound is also affected, even if only one of the systems is turned on.
I know I can connect some of my systems via RF, but then the picture and sound quality is much lower. My AV9000 also have a SAT Module that I don't use. Is it possible to remove it and replace it with another SCART-socket?
Anyone, please help?
//Bo.A long list...
That one looks almost like the one I have tried, except mine has no remote. If you have tried this one, is it working well?
No,
I havent tried. Found it on this page.http://www.videogameperfection.com/av-gear/scart-switch-roundup/
Thanks! I'll try to buy one of the ones who scored high on the test!
