Is there anyone who has experience with a Beocom 5 connected with DEC to a Fritz!box router? e.g. with a Fritz!box 7390 router. Can you use the Beocom 5 without the BeoLine 2?

Hello,

yes you can! ;)

I use a BEoCom 5 with a FritzBox 6360 and it works fine. Unfortunately I can see the number of the incoming call only on the first ringing, but that's the only inconvenience.

Mm, that sounds pretty inconvenient to me. I was thinking of buying a Beocom 5 without a beoline. But this does not sound good to me. Which country are you in? And was the Beocom 5 bought in the same country? I am asking because there are two ways of sending the numberinfo; fsk and dtmf. A telephone company normally uses just one of both. Thanks for the info though.
