Hi guys,

I connected my Sonos Connect through the SPDIF on my BV11 - hooked up the A.Mem button on the Beo4 and the sound worked instantly - but!

The BV handles/processes the sound causing a lag/delay to the other Sonos-zones in my house.

On my old Onkyo 808 I could choose "Direct" as a listening mode, causing the amp to play the sound from the sonos without processing/delaying it.

Do you have any suggestions for me to try on the BV to achieve the same?

I already tried P.Mute to disable the video (and video processor) but the delay is not caused by that.

I also tried to set the listening mode to custom and disable the True Image (Setting it to 1:1) instead.

The delay happens both when using the built in speakers and when using BL9 connected to the BV11.

I have a V1 in a similar setup (V1 - BL8000 - Sonos)

A delay with when routing Sonos thru the V1 inevitably results in a delay no matter which option or setting you choose.

I finally bought a Bosscom Powerlink Switch. This works fine.

So your speakers are connected to both your V1 and the Powerlink Switch?

Both the V1 and the Sonos are connected to the Powerlink Switch. The speakers in turn are also connected to the Powerlink switch.

You can find more info on the website of vendors such as Bosscom or Almando.

Did you try Game Mode on the V1? It bypasses part of the picture processing to minimise lag when you're trying not to get shot in Call of Duty - it might help with the sound delay?

What happens if you mute the picture?

Unfortunately this doesn't help either...

Ok, so I bought the bossscom now.

But now my Beolab 9's have a nasty background noise.

I got a rj45 to powerlink on in 2, the rca from my sonos on in 1

One powerlink to the right speaker from the bossscom out, and another powerlink from the right speaker to the left speaker.

Any ideas on what is causing the noise? Noise is different on in 1 & 2...
