Hello everybody!

Yesterday, for my birthday, my BV8 has done something strange : it was on, playing a blu ray, I went out, and it was off, red lights on the beolabs, and no light on the TV. Impossible to start it again.

So I disconnected it from the mains, waited some seconds, and then reconnected it. The statut LED turned orange, and quickly red. Then everything worked.

Now it works as usual, without problem. BUT when switching the mains off and on again (like I do frequently to save some power and the planet), the BV8 status led turns orange at power on for half a second approximately. No error in the error counters.

Has anybody an idea of what it could be?

Maybe you haven't noticed it until now, but it is an fact perfectly normal for the LED to turn orange for a second and then red, when mains is connected .. So no problems with your BV Smile

I'm quite sure the LED wasn't orange at first, but that was before I updated from build 110 to build 224!

Thanks!

I updated my beoVision (not BeoSound) mainly for the HDMI switch support (the bv will be connected to a 4x2 switch to share HDMI with my videoprojector).

And it was also time to go from grey menus to the black menu ;-)
