Hello, as i talked about before ( http://archivedforum2.beoworld.org/forums/t/8209.aspx ) i have a pair of Bang & Olufsen beovox 4700 speakers connected to my Aiwa receiver. The problem is that suddently one speaker stopped working, it just does not produce any sound... I tested the receiver with other speakers ( the speakers that came with it ) but still no sound. I still get sound from the other speaker so it looks like the speaker port has failed. My guess is that the receiver has failed because of the low ohm of the speakers ( it's 4Ohm) and the receiver is not close to that kind of power ( hehe). If the speaker is OK but the receiver is broken i will probably purchase one of Yama's 2013 line with 6Ohm's per channel or Pioneer amplifier. What do you think has happened and what receiver will you recommend ? :- )
