Here is a little inspiration.A female friend of mine had a little Christmas get-together two days ago. I knew she doesnt have a stereo, and I knew she had this 50th wall shelf system. So, I figured out to bring some music, so what would be better then a 900K , funny enough it slided in so neat there.Reaction...She was looking at it for along time and said.."hmmm thats what I need, can you get me one of those"A hifi neird was there, he said, "incredible what a sound that half a century old readio can do, what deep bass, and when I explied how the each speaker actually have a very little individual space divereted by wood, that it is actually just maybe a 2 liter box that produce that bass, he gasped.Quiestions came from all kinds of directions about the radio. I have posted regular on my facebook both my B&O stuff and pictures of the friday evening renovation work at my kitchenReactions ?A friend of mine in south Sweden have started to collect vintage B&OA work collegue also a re-recording engineer, went down in his storage and picked up his fathers old B&O stereo, hooked it up and told his girld friend, "well, honey, this is whats going to be in the living room from now on, this old machine sounds better then the japanese thing I haveTwo of my friends have through facebook bought some of my renovated BM900It wouldnt suprise me if you also have similar nice stories to share, please do.

A Thanks !I dont have a dedicated B&O site, I just flood all of my almost 400 FB friends with what I do and like on my person FB wall I will over time make a ordinary website with my vintage B&O work. but at the moment it is more fun to dig in the machines that typing on the computer.
A FB site is nice way of spreading the cutlure, have you got some interesting contact through it, Tamtapir ?

Actually the speakers use the entire volume of Beomaster case. At a quick glance, it looks like they are sealed, but the internal division walls have openings that are covered with fabric!
Great story though and I totally agree about the usefulness of these table radios. I'll never let go of mine

And it makes a great avatar! Much nicer than, say, an M70 with custom fabric.
BTW: the mugs were broke in over the weekend. Me with Newcastle brown ale and she with Corona.
