During the past I have done a pretty number of boards, but this one was used far beyond his capabilities..

Just wanted to share this. The Low/Highpass filter of a penta.

It happens regularly. But these resistors did burn the board itself more than I've seen so far. Mostly  only the resistors are burned. Even the coil on the right down side of the board is partly melted.

So, The tweeter has passed away. But that isn't a surprise after looking at this.

I've seen that inside a Beovox S45-2 (same resistors) too. Awful.
