Today I finally had my BV7-40 mk3 updated to the very latest 11.37a software. I decided to update after reading the one and only "Software update thread is back!" thread on Beoworld. I really missed that I could not deactivate my center speaker and run a phantom center on my BL5s.
According to the thread this was fixed in SW 10.02 (build 814) - 11/2010 so I thought it was about time to update.
But so far I haven't managed to deactivate my center speaker even with the new software. Is this fix only valid for newer hardware versions or...? I would think it's a fairly simple task to do in software alone.
