This is the second Archived Forum which was active between 1st March 2012 and 23rd February 2022
I just replied to some posts and though i had not hit the post button as nothing seem to have happened, so i hit post and there was a double post so i had hit it the first time.
Tried a couple more post and it was then very quick, as it has been whenever I have been on.
Anyone else experienced any lag issues hitting post?
One issue you need to be aware of particularly during the beta test period is if there has been no activity on the forum for a couple of hours, the forum software automatically shuts down. When the first user posts on the forum after this shutdown, there will be an initial delay while it starts up again typically about 20 seconds. All following postings etc will be normal speed without delay
When the system is in normal use it will be rare for the forum to shut down because there is normally at least one user on the forum day or night.

Makes total sense Keith, as it has been really quick since that initial posting this evening my time
